Offring most excellent fruites [etc.] "Within the knowledge of the Editor there are but two tracts earlier than this, concerning what was called "Virginia" in 1609. The one is Waymonth's voyage to North Virginia, in which he does not appear to have been on what is now the Virginia coast at all. This was published in 1605. The other is a "Relation of what hapned in Virginia since the first planting of that Collony:" this was written by Capt.
